“The historic Salt Mine in Wieliczka is the only site in the world where mining has continued since the middle ages. Lying on nine levels, its original excavations stretch for the total 300 kilometers: reaching the depth of 327 meters. They illustrate all the stages of the development of the mining technology overtime.”

在走了三個小時的洞穴且被可愛的導覽小姐告知“今日我們將只拜訪鹽礦的百分之二”以後，我不禁懷疑人類花費數世紀挖掘如此寬廣的鹽場（除了愛吃以外）是否只是為了滿足建造地底城市的夢想？

附註：
從Krakow到Wieliczka坐火車只要2.3塊（班次不多），Mini Bus也只要2.5（十分鐘一班）。礦場門票包含外國語導覽（二至三個小時）是44（這是冬季折扣價，平常是55），加起來共約50塊。所以，千萬不要參加車站門口或旅館的攬客。
